Career Development Center at the University of Zakho inform and congratulate the students who participated in the skills training program on 30/1/2023 in the presence of representatives and supervisors of all companies, organizations, medical laboratories, factories, and private sectors who participated in the skills training program, students will be presented their certificates of completion.
The Internship Program is an annual program run by the Career Development Center in collaboration with IREX and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the summer season. In this program, third and fourth-grade students from all departments from all faculties and colleges will be trained as volunteers in the private sector for a certain period of time.
The aim of this program was to prepare and develop students and provide work experience simultaneously. Through this program, students were able to practically apply the subjects they had learned theoretically in the past in the private sector where they were admitted.
One of the important points of this program was that students could identify their career goals and interests through it. Of course, this program pays more attention to the private sector, because the sector becomes a bridge between students and the labor market. Also, they were trained under the supervision of professionals.
Students also had the opportunity to prove their intelligence and expertise. Hopefully, some job opportunities will be available to them in the same place.
After successfully completing their training, the participating students will be awarded a certificate from IREX, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the Career Development Center at Zakho University.
Note: All students must be present on the appointed date to receive their certificates. If they are unable to come, someone must arrange for them to receive the certificate.
Venue: Faculty of Science, 3rd Floor, Conference Hall.
